Grosse Pointe Park Public Safety Foundation · 501(c)(3)
Our public safety officers answer every call — police and fire alike. The Foundation funds the equipment, training, and wellness resources that go beyond the City budget, so they can serve safely and come home after every shift.
Like the pressure gauge on a firefighter's air tank, the campaign starts in the red — and every gift moves the needle toward full. $300,000 replaces every mask and tank in service.
Help fill the tankThe campaign
A Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus — the mask and air tank a firefighter wears — is their lifeline inside a burning building. Without it, entry is impossible.
Grosse Pointe Park's units are nearing the end of their service life. This campaign replaces every mask and tank, standardized so our crews can connect and share air with neighboring Pointe departments at any fire.
Our officers serve as both police and firefighters, answering every fire alongside neighboring Pointe departments. Compatible masks and tanks let crews connect their gear and work together safely.
"Every day, our officers and firefighters answer your call for help. Today, I'm asking you to answer ours. Whether your gift is $50 or $50,000, every contribution helps our team safely serve this community and return home to their families."Chief James A. Bostock · Director of Public Safety

Why the Foundation exists
The Grosse Pointe Park Public Safety Foundation is an independent, community-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit that funds equipment, training, and wellness resources for Grosse Pointe Park's public safety officers.
The City of Grosse Pointe Park provides exceptional police and fire protection through its annual operating budget — personnel, vehicles, facilities, and emergency response.
But like every municipality, worthwhile opportunities extend beyond that budget: specialized safety equipment, replacement breathing masks and air tanks, wellness initiatives, advanced training. The Foundation exists to bridge that gap through community philanthropy.
Our impact
Since 2022, community donations have put real equipment in the hands of our officers — every dollar accounted for, every purchase in service.
Lets officers assess a citizen's immediate health the moment they arrive on scene.
Ballistic protection for every officer — replaced on schedule as vests age out.
Transparency and protection for officers and citizens alike.
Aerial search and rescue, scene mapping, and heat-signature tracking.
Stewardship
The Foundation is governed by volunteer directors from the Grosse Pointe Park community.

This is a design proposal for the Grosse Pointe Park Public Safety Foundation homepage, prepared for board review. Everything above this panel is the proposed site; this panel documents what's real, what's sample, and what still needs a decision. It will not appear on the built website.
Everything in this mockup is up for debate — nothing above this panel is final. The imagery, especially, is placeholder: every photo can be swapped, and none has been selected by the group. The copy is equally provisional — every headline, section, and sentence is a working draft awaiting review and rewrite by the messaging team; no wording here should be read as settled. The same goes for structure, section order, colors, and type: this mockup exists to give the group something concrete to react to, not to lock anything in.
The campaign gauge is currently set to $0 / 0% until
live fundraising begins. The figure is set by editing one number in
the page code (see the comment marked
update this number).
All placeholder images were pulled from the current foundation website's uploads — this table just documents where each one came from.

the old script-logo letterhead and no officer titles, so it'll want
a refresh if the brand system is adopted.
